Arty Support for Local Charity
Eastleigh College Art Students have been putting their creativity to good use in support of ‘Inspired Living’, a local project raising money for Cancer Research UK.
The Inspired Living project was set up by Tim Frank, a GP in Eastleigh and Chandler’s Ford, who tragically lost his wife Marey to cancer in 2009. Dr Frank, determined to create something positive out of his family’s loss, set up the project with the aim of raising money for Cancer Research whilst encouraging people to become healthier. A number of charity bike rides and fitness events to raise funds have already taken place and are more are planned for the coming year.

A group of Eastleigh College Art Students committed their time to coming up with some original banner artwork to support the Cycle4Life event, which is taking place in September this year. Emma Walsh, Maciej Swaiatowy and Edward Gells were heavily involved in the designs, and Dani Glasper’s t-shirt design (pictured) was chosen as the official t-shirt for the event.
